Our Services

iMovedX provides London-wide house removals, office relocations, and packing services with simple, transparent pricing. You can choose between fixed-price home move bundles or flexible hourly “man & van” teams, all backed by careful planning, vetted crews, and no hidden fees.

Important: We are not currently VAT-registered, so the prices shown are the prices you pay – no VAT added.

How Our Pricing Works

We keep pricing simple and predictable:

  • Two options:
    – Fixed-price bundles for typical home moves (studio to 4-bed).
    – Hourly teams for flexible jobs, office moves, partial moves, and complex access.
  • Minimum charge: Each crew has a minimum number of hours; after that, extra time is billed in 30-minute blocks.
  • Travel distance: Up to 10 miles one way between addresses is included in all bundles. Extra mileage is usually £1 per additional mile one way.
  • Stairs & access: A standard number of stairs is included in each bundle. Extra flights, long carries, or access delays may add a clearly explained fee (see “Add-ons & surcharges” below).

Fixed price after survey: You’ll see an instant estimate first, then a confirmed fixed price after a short video survey or detailed photo review so there are no surprises on move day.

Fixed-Price Home Move Bundles

Ideal for straightforward flat and house moves within London. Each bundle includes:

  • A trained, DBS-checked moving crew
  • A dedicated van sized to your property
  • Loading, transport, and unloading
  • Protective equipment (blankets, straps, basic floor protection)
  • Up to 10 miles between addresses
  • A set number of moving boxes you keep

All bundle prices are “from” prices and are confirmed after your video survey.

Studio Flat – from £189

Best for: studio and small one-room moves with straightforward access.
  • 2 movers, up to 2 hours of labour
  • 12–15 m³ of space (typical studio contents)
  • 1 flight of stairs included at each property
  • 2 medium boxes included

1-Bedroom Home – from £329

Best for: 1-bedroom flats or compact homes within London.
  • 2 movers, up to 3 hours of labour
  • 18–20 m³ of space
  • 1 flight of stairs included at each property
  • 3 medium boxes included

2-Bedroom Home – from £579

Best for: 2-bedroom flats or small family homes with average access.
  • 2 movers, up to 4 hours of labour
  • 28–30 m³ of space
  • 2 flights of stairs included at each property
  • 4 medium boxes included

3-Bedroom Home – from £949

Best for: Larger flats or houses with more furniture and belongings.
  • 3 movers, up to 6 hours of labour
  • 38–40 m³ of space
  • 2 flights of stairs included at each property
  • 6 medium + 4 large boxes included

4-Bedroom Home – from £1,349

Best for: Full family homes with substantial contents and furniture.
  • 3 movers, up to 8 hours of labour
  • 55–60 m³ of space
  • 3 flights of stairs included at each property
  • 10 large boxes included

5-Bedroom Home – from £1,689

  • 4 movers, up to 8 hours of labour
  • 55–60 m³ of space
  • 3 flights of stairs included at each property
  • 12 large boxes included

Bundle rules (simple version):

  • If your move runs over the included hours or volume, only the extra time is billed at our standard hourly rates.
  • Any second trip needed because of access or volume is billed by time and mileage at hourly rates.
  • Crew size is set before move day; additional movers can’t be added mid-job but can be requested in advance.

Hourly Removal Teams (“Man & Van”)

Perfect for flexible moves, partial loads, office relocations, or where scope may change.

Standard hourly rates (London):

 

  • 1 mover + van – £59 per hour
    • 2-hour minimum, then billed in 30-minute blocks
    • Ideal for light moves, single items, or small local jobs
  • 2 movers + van – £95 per hour
    • 3-hour minimum
    • Best for most 1–2 bed flats and small office moves
  • 3 movers + van – £135 per hour
    • 3-hour minimum
    • For larger homes, heavier items, or quicker load/unload
  • Office relocations (typical setup)
    • Usually 3 movers + van at £135 per hour
    • Same hourly structure as above
    • +20% uplift for work outside 08:00–18:00, with building access and permits arranged in advance.

Time starts when the team arrives and runs continuously until the job is complete, including loading, travel, and unloading.

Professional Packing Services & Materials

Protect your belongings and save hours of work with our packing support.

Packing Labour

We label boxes clearly and create a simple inventory so unpacking is easier at your new place.
  • £40 per hour per packer
  • 2-hour minimum per packing session
  • Options: full packing, fragile-only packing, kitchen/wardrobe focus, or unpacking support.

Packing Materials (Delivered or Supplied With Your Move)

  • Small box: £3.50
  • Medium box: £4.50
  • Large box: £6.00
  • Wardrobe packing kit (tape, bubble wrap, marker): £8
  • Any boxes included in your bundle are yours to keep. Loaned materials, if agreed, are charged at the same unit rates if not returned.

You can book packing as a standalone service or combine it with your move for a single, coordinated plan.

Add-Ons & Situations That May Change Your Price

We explain every potential extra charge before you confirm your booking, so nothing appears “out of nowhere” on your invoice. Common add-ons:

Early or late moves
+20% uplift on labour for work before 08:00 or after 18:00.
Extra stairs
£20 per additional flight per property beyond what your bundle includes.
Long carry
£100 if the nearest legal parking is more than 50 m from your entrance.
Furniture disassembly / reassembly
From £45–£75 per item (e.g. beds, wardrobes, sofas), agreed in advance.
Storage transfer
£60 per extra stop if we are delivering to or from a storage facility.
Parking, permits, Congestion & ULEZ
Charged at cost where applicable; we can help arrange suspensions with enough notice and a small admin fee.

High-value or fragile antiques:

A handling fee may apply for single items worth more than £500 or especially delicate antiques. This is a handling fee, not insurance cover, and is always discussed in advance.

Deposits, Cancellations & Payment

We use simple, written rules so you know exactly where you stand.

  • Deposit: A £150 deposit secures your booking and is deducted from your final bill.
  • Balance: The remaining balance is collected on completion of your move, either by cash or card.
  • Cancellation policy:
    • More than 72 hours before move: free cancellation deposit refunded
    • 72–24 hours before: 50% of deposit refunded
    • Less than 24 hours before: Deposit nonerefundable  
  • Rescheduling: Free with at least 72 hours’ notice. Closer to the move date, a small rescheduling fee may apply (shown clearly at booking).
  • Waiting time for keys or access: After a short grace period, waiting time is billed at your crew’s hourly rate in 30-minute units.
